Prince Namor – Sub-Mariner Vol. 1 #1 – 72 + Specials (1968-1974) : This is the first solo Sub-Mariner series published by Marvel Comics, the previous “Sub-Mariner” and “Sub-Mariner Comics” having been published by Marvel’s predecessors Atlas and Timely respectively. The series was launched following the success of the Sub-Mariner stories in Tales To Astonish and continues from the one shot Iron Man and Sub-Mariner which picks up the story arc from Tales To Astonish #101. The series started in 1968 and lasted 72 issues until 1974.
